Fundación LAB Mediterráneo holds its II Unlimited Mentoring to help SMEs overcome challenges relating to innovation and technology
Valencia, 7 September 2023.- Fundación LAB Mediterráneo, a project promoted by the Employers’ Association of Valencia (AVE), will hold, on 14 September, in the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation in Castellón, in collaboration with the Employers’ Association of Valencia (AVE), the European centre of Business and Innovation of Castellón (CEEI), The Business Confederation of the Valencian Community of Castellón (CEV Castellón) and the Council of Chambers of the Valencian Community, its second unlimited Mentoring, following the one held last year in Valencia.
A seminar on Business Mentoring with an aim to help SMEs in the Valencian Community overcome challenges relating to technology and innovation, thanks to the experience and learning outcomes of companies that are already leaders in these areas.
The seminar will include an inspiring dialogue between Raúl Cebrián, Cuatroochenta’s CEO and Jose Guillermo Berlanga, head of innovation at the Gimeno Group, which will be followed by group work sessions, led by expert mentors in innovation and technology, with a final session for sharing conclusions, as well as space for networking.
The requisites for signing up are to be in charge of a company having between 10 and 50 workers, to have your headquarters in the Valencian Community and have a career of at least 5 or more years, as well as to comply with tax and labour-related obligations. Once the mentees have been selected, they will be divided into groups according to the challenge to be overcome and each group of businesspeople will be assigned mentors who will help them solve problems, while sharing their vision.
Once the mentoring has been completed, the companies will be monitored. Moreover, the mentees will be afforded the opportunity to take a business management course at EDEM School of Businesspeople –
The main objective of the SuperPymes course is to train the businesspeople taking part by providing them with knowledge in the main areas of business management.

Fundación LAB Mediterráneo is a project created by AVE with the mission of positioning the Region of Valencia as a national and European benchmark in entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and research.
