The graph below presents an assessment of the environmental conditions for entrepreneurship in the Region of Valencia in 2020.
At the bottom of the list we find school entrepreneurship education with a score of 3.58. What the data reflect is a good perception towards Physical and Commercial Infrastructures, but that more attention needs to be paid to School Entrepreneurship Education.

AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL
In terms of the national context, the Region of Valencia ranked third in the NECI (National Entrepreneurship Context Index) in 2020 with 5.0, behind Catalonia (5.2) and La Rioja (5.1). This index measures the conditions for entrepreneurship in various regions of Spain and highlights the Region of Valencia as a region with a nationally competitive entrepreneurial environment.

In 2021, the assessment of the entrepreneurial environment conditions in the Region of Valencia presented the following key points:
School entrepreneurship education is again at the bottom of the list with 3.2, indicating a continued need for improvement in this aspect.

AT THE NATIONAL LAVEL
In 2021, the Region of Valencia ranked eighth in the NECI (National Entrepreneurship Context Index) with 4.8. The Basque Country led with 5.7, and the Canary Islands came last with 4.3.
This change in position reflects variations in entrepreneurial environment conditions over the year.

THE IMPACT OF THE PANDEMIC IN 2021
The perceived impact of the pandemic on different aspects in 2021 is reflected in the promotion of telework, which tops the list with 7.2.
Sufficient government support closes the list with 4.5, highlighting areas where deficiencies are still perceived such as specific subsidies, tax benefits or training for digitalisation.
